“A VR haunted house, Train of the haunted hour (Jukoku ressha)”
was held for the first time in Miyazaki prefecture as a VR horror event in the summer of 2016.
At the trial event, the limited number of tickets disappeared as soon as distribution started every time and visitors formed a queue.
At the main event released at AEON MALL Miyazaki, it gained a booming reputation, with visitors filled to capacity every day from opening time to closing time.
This is the first attraction with VR imaging developed as original content by FORCES and HYUGA-YA. The story is set in a train which runs on a line which had "an incident" several years ago. If you happen to sit on the train at the time when the incident occurred, the curse that is carved into the train will attack its passengers.
Participants wear a HMD, then are guided into a booth resembling a train by a conductor. Here they will experience virtual reality as if they are sitting on the train as passengers. Will you be able to escape from the terrifying events that will occur one after another inside of this gloomy 360-degree train…?
